Friday was a five and a half year old grey mare, standing about 16hh, threequarters Thoroughbred and one quarter Irish. I worked with her at my yard for six weeks in total, and then made weekly visits to her owner's home, transforming her from going on the forehand in a hollow outline to moving so nicely that she won the dressage phase of a one-day event by 10 marks.
